was talking to a friend at Ingram Nissan here in SA, TX.. and we got discussing outrageous OEM part pricing. He said give it a year and you'll begin to see almost all the part pricing drop like crazy. Once the 350z and new model cars get established, you should see a significant drop in retail pricing. He said it happens all the time but just took a really long time for the 300 due to it was still being manufactured in Japan, and Nissan thought they could still keep part pricing at the levels they were at even though the 300 wasn't available here in the states after the '96. I am glad things are finally coming down... gives me more incentive to replace a lot of stuff.
